This is my first post, but it definitely won't be my last! My name is Chris and I have the cool job of coming up with new features for Tech Rocket. I work with our entire Tech Rocket team to make sure your experience on Tech Rocket continues to improve. You've probably already seen and experienced some of the features we've released lately including Live Coaches and the new Minecraft server.
Tech Rocket is made for you, our users and I know you all have great ideas when it comes to improving Tech Rocket. With that said I have one simple question:
How can we improve Tech Rocket?
Dream big! It can be anything and everything you want to see on Tech Rocket including new courses, games, messaging etc.
Oh and if we end up using your idea for a new feature then you'll receive a free month of Tech Rocket from yours truly when your feature is released.

We should definitely have Flash Programming.

I know that several members wanted Java game programming. In fact any kind of game programming with an object oriented programming language would be fine with me. Like Java, C++, or a more advanced unity programming course or something like that. thanks!

Great idea Jack! We're looking into revising Unity and using C#!

How about a course on Autodesk products like 3DS Max and Maya? Anyone can get the full programs for free under an educational license, which as far as i know, only prevents you from selling/monetizing content made with it.

Thanks Mini! Do you have any cool examples of things created with those products?

Do you think that you guys could add more minecraft things? Like, stuff ON minecraft? Or maybe a course on how to make resource/texture packs, or maybe working with vanilla? Maybe some stuff that requires you to go on your server? I mainly just want more minecraft stuff. Minecraft is one of my most favorite things! Don't forget to make them so you are on minecraft instead of some other program. Oh yeah, maybe also MC edit courses? Just add more minecraft stuff! And also more game design. That's also fun.

Stay tuned @aidan01pay! We have some fun stuff in the works.

Thanks for the suggestion @DAVIDCLIPS ! We just released a new Swift course so if it gains tons of popularity we will look at creating a second course! So share it with your friends! Also pHp is a hard course to do because there isn't a lot of demand for it, but I can see it being placed somewhere with an HTML course .. hmm

It has been a while, and I completely forgot about this thread due to school, science fairs, and projects, etc. Anyways, Slamacow, the great Minecraft animator, uses Maya last I checked. As far as I know, he only does the animation, which is moving the rigs around and setting keyframes and whatnot. Bootstrap Buckaroo I believe provided slama with the rigs in his animations which are made in 3DS Max.
Here are a few examples of Slamacow's videos if you dont know him:

Thanks for this information @MiniCajun! My apologies for the late reply!

You guys should find a way to get an online console where users can make programs. then maybe you could set up a system so that users can code on the site, share their works with other users (filtered of course), and view the projects of other users. This way everyone on the site can learn from each other's projects and if they don't want to share any projects they don't have to. Just an idea I had.

Great idea! This is currently being discussed by the team!
